Today marks a well deserve stepping stone for Social Media, & Social Networks. Today is Known as “SOCIAL MEDIA DAY”, started by the world renown media blog “Mashable”.
They drew such a large attention to the Social Media Day in less than a month, that the City of Victoria, British Columbia made June 30th officially “SOCIAL MEDIA DAY”

By the looks of things, this is a giant leap forward turning “Social Media Day” into a worldwide recognized day.
